Collection Hermitage

The winter 2013 collection of Atelier Sandro Barros surpasses Russian inspiration in such truisms as Fabergés and severe snowstorms. It is a collection full of history, poetry and that was born of a great research in biographies of the royal family, in Liev Tolstoi, in the Bolshoi Ballet, in the high jewelry of the time, in the decoration of the palaces, in the great influence that the French court exerted on the Russians and in the films “War and Peace” and “Anna Karenina”. And in this collection commemorating the 400 years of Romanovs the dresses were sewn to the body of a woman of all time, who will find the love of her life to dine in the Turandot of Moscow. Think of a modern Tsarina, strong and delicate at the same time, ready to reign in the hearts of her admirers. A woman who knew the Siberian cold and the warmth of the rooms of the Hermitage, which has the determination of a Catherine the Great, the nobility of an Alexandra, the elegance of Maria Feodorovna, the romanticism of Anna Karenina and the fragility of an Anastasia. The saga of this woman seems to have been embroidered with the crystals of the chandeliers of the Winter Palace and, armed with the very soft layers of tulle, she is ready to fly like the Bolshoi dancers, turning the people around her into an enchanted audience.

The fabrics used are velvet, tulle, lime, lace, mousseline, organza, zibeline and crepe geogette. The main colors are nude, beige, gold, pink, black and off-white. The embroideries are rich, with inspiration in the jewels and in the coat of arms of the Romanovs, besides floral and geometric motifs present in the architecture of the palaces. Besides the dresses, the collection has a great variety of pelerines, stoles, boleros and beautiful minaudiéres of silver, gold and crystals.

The photos were made by photographer Pedro Campos with the top Thana Kuhnen, Brazilian model expert in French haute couture. The grandiose scenery signed by Mangaba Produções had furniture Renne Behar, Ana Luiza Wawelberg, Ivy, Began Antiquities and flowers Aparecida Helena.
